This Week at WABC



Join us each Sunday at 11:30 AM for our Sunday morning worship service. Sunday school begins at 10 AM. Followed by a time of fellowship. We offer free coffee and donuts each morning between service. Your children are welcome to attend our Children's Church service during 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays.

Church Conference will take place on Tuesday at 7 PM.



Join us for Bible Study Noonday or Wednesday evenings at 7 PM. We serve food at 6:30 PM each Wednesday night so don't let hunger be an excuse to stay away! There will be no noonday bible study this Wednesday!



If you would like to contribute to our Food Pantry please contact Raymond or Marilyn Caffee for more info. Our pantry provides food to assist the local Foodbank.



Thank you to everyone who has supported Thomasine Flores this month during her run for queen. Thomasine is representing WABC as queen at the Tidewater Missionaries Ways and Means program. The contest ends April 16th. The Ways and Means Program will take place on Monday, April 16th at 7 PM at Little Zion Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA.


Thank you Men's Ministry for coming out to help pass out flyers in the community. And for attending our quartely breakfast at Golden Corral. The next breakfast will take place on Saturday, July 14th at the Golden Corral on Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach VA.



Zumba classes have begun at WABC. Join us each Saturday at 10:30 AM. Each participant is asked to bring a $3.00 to $5.00 donation for our instructor.

Thank you WABC Youth and Children's Ministry for doing such a great job SUnday during our Easter Eggstravaganza. Special thanks to our teens who helped out. Special shout out to our Men's Ministry team for acting as greeters and ushers during service.


WABC Missions Ministry will celebrate their 70th anniversary on April 15th. Our guest will be Union United Church of Christ, Norfolk VA. Service begins at 2:30.



Please mark your calender's for our Family and Friends Weekend. There will be a church picnic on May 5th starting at 12 Noon, then we will continue the celebration on Sunday during our morning worship service at 11:30 AM. That afternoon Rev. Willie Dickerson, and the congregation of Union Zion Baptist Church will close out our celebrations! We are asking everyone to bring their favorite dish to share.



Registration for our Women's Ministry Weekend has begun. For additional info please see Cyndi Jennings. Our guest for Women's Day will be Rev. Josephine Cherry, associate minister at First Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dumfries VA. Sign up sheets are available in the Fellowship Hall. Please turn in to one of the ministry team members (Cyndi Jennings, Nicole Daye, Calonia Fults, Thomasine Flores, Sarah Russell or Diane Robinson).
