The Homegoing Celebration for Deaconess Nannie King will take place today at noon at WABC. Due to the funeral Wednesday night bible study will not take place this evening.


Join us each Sunday at 11:30 AM for our Sunday morning worship service. Sunday school begins at 10 AM. We offer free coffee and donuts each morning before service. Your children are welcome to attend our Children's Church service during 1st, 3rd, and 4th Sundays.


If you would like to contribute to our Food Pantry please contact Raymond or Marilyn Caffee for more info. Our pantry provides food to assist the local Foodbank.

The Tidewater Baptist Missionaries will sponsor their annual Honoree Luncheon on September 29, 2012 at St. Mark's Missionary Baptist Church, Portsmouth. This years honorees representing WABC will be Irma Rogers, Erica Morrison, and Mazie Gray. Tickets are still available for this event. Please see Irma Rogers for additional info.

Our annual Backpack Drive has begun. Please help us gather backpack and supplies that will go to assist children within the Broadcreek area. For more info please speak with Nicole Daye.

If you would like to place and ad in our 2012 Yearbook and Directory which will be distributed out during our Annual Homecoming Service in the fall please speak with Jenette Sapp for additional info.

Y.A.M will meet this Sunday after service for a "Evening at the Movies" with Martinique Jennings. Free to Young Adults (age 20-35). Hotdogs, drinks and popcorn will be served. For more info speak with Pastor Marc or Lady Cyndi.

Men’s Day is scheduled for July 15^th. Rev. Joseph Casper and the congregation of Bethel Baptist Church will be in charge. The men are scheduled to meet for breakfast with Pastor Marc on Saturday July 14^th at the Golden Corral on Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach. Invite a friend to join you!

A Church Conference is scheduled for this Tuesday (July 10^th) at 7 PM.

Pastor Marc, Lady Cyndi and the members of WABC would like to extend our condolences to the family of State Senator Yvonne Miller. She will be greatly missed by this community as well as the Commonwealth of Virginia!

Zumba class will be held this coming Saturday at 9 AM.

In order to give our VBS team, and staff a break there will not be an All Staff Meeting this Tuesday, or Bible Study on Wednesday. We hope you enjoy the 4^th of July Holiday with your family!
