Revival Speakers




WABC is excited to announce that the speakers for our Youth/Young Adult and Church Revival this year will be Rev. Melvin Cotton, Associate Minister at Grove Baptist Church in Portsmouth and Rev. Dr. Erwin M. Scott, Pastor of First Lynhaven Baptist Church in Virginia Beach VA. Our Youth and Church Revival is set to take place on September 20th through the 23rd (7 PM Nightly).

Thank You for your Contributions

Thank you for your contributions to the Food Bank. And if you have not made a donation please consider making a donation (non-perishable items) to our food pantry drive. Help to feed someone in need. Many of our local food pantries are in need. Our goal is to help as many people as possible. Donations can be dropped off at the church during Wednesday night, and Sunday morning services. This Week at WABC



Join us on Wednesday for our weekly bible study, food, fellowship, prayer and praise at 6PM. We are studying the Book of Luke. Noonday Bible Study will resume on Wednesday, September 8th. We will be studying the book of Isaiah.

Join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday Morning Bible Study. We offer free coffee and donuts between classes.

Our Backpack Drive will be wrapping up soon. Nicole Daye is asking the youth to come out on Wednesday evening at 7 PM to help pack up the backpacks for distribution.

Calonia Faults, Nicki Jennings, Quisha Jennings and Cyndi Jennings had a great time at the WOF Conference this past weekend in DC. Plans are being made for next year so stay posted!

WABC would like to welcome our newest members Ashley Rosser and Miranda Williams to the WABC family.

John Blackwell and the congregation of The Way the Truth and The Life Church for coming to help them celebrate their anniversary. This Week at WABC



We will not have our All Staff Meeting or Bible Study (or New Members class) this week.

Special thanks to Elizabeth Robinson for that timely message yesterday to the youth at WABC.

Pastor Marc will be on vacation this coming Sunday. Rev. Nathanial Mitchell, Associate Minister at Gethsemane Baptist Church will be the speaker for that day.

Pastor Marc will be speaking at Goodwill Baptist Church, Norfolk VA on Friday, August 13th at 7 PM. All church members, auxiliaries and friends are encouraged to attend. The ushers and choir are asked to be in place to serve.
