This Week at WABC



There will be an All Staff Meeting this Tuesday at 7 PM.

Join us on Wednesday for weekly bible study, food, fellowship, prayer and praise at 6PM. We are studying the Book of Luke. We also offer noon day bible study on Wednesday. Topic of conversation The Gospel According to John.

Anyone interested in volunteering for VBS this year please be at church Wednesday evening at 6 PM for a brief information meeting.

Join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday Morning Bible Study. We also offer free coffee and donuts before and after Sunday school class.

Please remember to contribute to our Food Bank Drive. For more info please speak with Raymond or Marilyn Caffee.

Ladies interested in attending the WOF Conference in August need to speak with June James about securing your ticket. We have ten tickets available for $89.00 per person. This does not include transportation, or hotel cost. A deposit is due no later then May 1st.

Ladies get ready for our Women's Weekend Experience which will be held in May. There will be an all day workshop on Saturday May 22nd entitled "The Sweet Life Cafe" where women come and Savor the Sweet Life! Savor time with God, Savor time with friends and Savor moments spent serving others. You will leave this workshop feeling nourished, satisfied, and full of the bread of life. The cost of this event is $20.00 per person (registration begins April 1st). Followed by our Annual Women's Day service on Sunday May 23rd.

The Clara Ellis Scholarship Ministry is sponsoring a "Dime Drive" to boost funds used to aid our students. For more info please speak with Sarah Russell.

The Old Dominion General Missionary Baptist Association (Layman's Division) will hold its Annual Spring Revival on April 20th -April 22nd at Antioch Baptist Church, Norfolk.


Sis. Annie King, WABC Church mother has been selected as "Queen" and will be representing WABC at the Ways and Means Committee of the Tidewater Baptist Missionaries. The annual King and Queen Pageant will be held on April 19, 2010 at 7 PM at First Baptist Church, Bute Street in Norfolk.
