This Week at WABC
Join us Wednesday evenings at 7 PM for Prayer, Praise, Food, Fellowship and a Relevant Word. We are studying the Purpose Driven Church by Pastor Rick Warren. We also offer noonday Bible Study on Wednesday afternoons. The topic of conversation is The Gospel According to John.
Join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday Morning Bible Study. Free coffee and donuts are available before and after class.
Please do not forget our Food Bank, especially during this holiday season. If you would like to donate towards this ministry please speak with Raymond or Marilyn Caffee.
The Ordination service for Deacon Ellis Ivy will be held on December 19th at 7PM. Please mark this event on your calendar.
Ladies mark your calender's for the first "Winter Tea" being sponsored by the Women's Ministry for January 16th 2010.
The Ellis and Milbourne Family would like to thank everyone who prayed for them, sent cards, made calls and expressed their condolences at the passing of their mother, grandmother and aunt, Mrs. Clara Ellis.
The WABC Christmas program and gift exchange will take place on Sunday December 20th immediately after the morning service.
WABC is in charge of the Christmas Day joint service which will be held at Union United Church of Christ in Norfolk at 10 AM. We hope you and your family will join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
Our New Years Eve Service is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 31st at 10PM. Breakfast will be served immediately following the service.
Rev. Rob would like to thank everyone who participated in the Fruit Basket fundraiser. All proceeds will benefit the building fund.
Pastor Marc and Lady Cyndi would like to thank all of the Married and Single members of WABC who attended the play with them last evening at New Life Providence Church, Kempsville in VA Beach.
