This Week at WABC



There will be a church conference next Tuesday at 7 PM.

Join us Wednesday Nights at 7 PM for Prayer, Praise, Fellowship and a Relevant word. We also offer noonday bible study on Wednesday afternoons.

Join us on Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday Morning Bible Study. Free coffee, donuts and hot tea are available before and after class.

Invite a friend to WABC. All guest are invited to join us on 4th Sunday's for a special "Meet and Greet", immediately following our Sunday Worship Service.

Pastor Marc and his wife Cyndi would like to thank everyone who attended the Honoree Banquet on this past Saturday at The Virginia Beach Convention Center. Your love and support has not gone unnoticed. Once again thank you for your support.

Thank you to everyone who accompanied Pastor Marc to New Light Baptist Church, Chesapeake. Special thanks to Pastor McClary and the New Light family for your hospitality.

Please speak with Cynthia Jennings, Erica Morrison or Thomasine Flores if you are interested in accompanied the Youth Ministry to the R-Ranch on October 31st at 6 PM. The cost for adults is $5.00 per person (youth will attend at no cost, but a head count will be needed in advance).

The WABC Women’s Ministry will be supporting One Sister’s Adopt a Family Program and the Union Baptist Good Shepherd Fellowship at their Hat Show and Luncheon on October 31st at 12:30 PM at the Riverfront Hilton Garden Inn. The costs of the tickets are $26.00 per person. There will be a mini hair show presented by For Your Eyes Only, a guest speaker, various door prizes, and a best hat contest (1st place prize is $100.00, 2nd Place Prize is $75.00 and 3rd place prize of $50.00). A photo session by Razorback Photography is available for $10.00. For more info please see Thomasine Flores. This event will take the place of our Girl’s Night Out Event for October.

Pastor Rob is taking orders for holiday fruit baskets. If you are interested in placing an order you can leave a message at the church office or speak with him directly. All proceeds benefit the church building fund.

The holidays are right around the corner and our local foodbanks need our support. If you would like to make a donation you can contact Raymond or Marilyn Caffee for more info.

The Men's Ministry is seeking donations of Men's Suits for its Men's Suit Drive. If you have gently used suits that you would be willing to donate please speak with Ellis Ivy.
