WABC congratulates Women of the Year 2011 Jenette Sapp!

Join us Wednesday Nights at 6:30 PM for prayer, praise, food and fellowship. We are studying the book of Luke.

Join us for Noonday Bible study as we study the book of Isaiah. The noonday Bible study will rap up their study on May 18th at 11 AM at the Golden Corral on Battlefield Blvd. in Chesapeake. Rev. John Smith of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church will speak on Isaiah 53. In September we will begin the book of Acts.

Join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday School. We offer free coffee, and donuts between classes. Children's Church is held during our 11:30 AM worship service (on 1st, 3rd and 4th Sunday's).

WABC will be hosting a Baby Contest and Talent Fashion Show on May 27th at 7 PM. If you would like to participate please speak with Jenette Sapp for more info.

There will be a church conference on May 17th at 7 PM.

Pastor Marc and the members of WABC will travel to Providence United Church on May 22nd to celebrate their Ushers Anniversary.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Women's Day service, and thank you to all of you who supported the Benefit Concert at Booker T Washington High School that afternoon.

The Women's Ministry team invites the women of WABC to a free luncheon at WABC where we will honor the "Legends" of WABC, our "seasoned" women. This event will take place this Saturday at 1 PM.

Please don't forget about our bread ministry. If you know someone who is in need they can come to the church this coming Sunday where the bread is given out immediately after our 11:30 AM worship service!

Women's Day 2011 is next Sunday May 15th. The speaker will be our very own Cyndi Jennings! The theme this year is A Fresh Start "Women Leading and Living With Purpose". Join us as we Start Fresh!

Ladies get ready for Women's Day 2011 as we Start Fresh!

WABC would like to thank Rev. Addie Peterson and the members of Messiah Presbyterian Church for joining us in our Annual Family and Friends Day service. Special thanks goes out to Rev. Robert Robertson, Diane Robinson and the WABC hospitality ministry for setting up the service and the food for the occasion.

Family and Friends Day

We invite you to join us this coming Sunday for our annual Family and Friends Day services. Join us in the morning at 11:30 AM for our Sunday morning worship service then again that afternoon at 2:30 PM as we celebrate along with our guest speaker Rev. Addie Peterson and the members of Messiah Presbyterian Church, Norfolk VA. Following the service join us for food and fellowship!

Benefit Concert

The Scott Singers from Franklin, VA are coming to Booker T Washington High School on May 15th at 5 PM. Tickets for this event are $20.00 per person and proceeds will benefit the Clara Ellis Scholarship Ministry and the Building Fund for WABC. Martinique and Marquisha Jennings will open up for the group.
