WABC Women's Day
Join us for our Annual Women's Day Celebrations on Sunday May 23rd during our 11:30 AM worship service. Our speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Pamela Chandler Lee, of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Chase City Virginia. WABC women we will be wearing pink in honor of the occasion.
Just a reminder that next Sunday is the last day to sign up for our Women's Day experience that will be held on Saturday May 22nd. We will be joined by several dynamic facilitators. Rev. Catherine Harris of Mount Bethel Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. Deanna Johnson of Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chesapeake VA. Bettie Greene from Messiah Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, VA. Michelle Ferebee from Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk VA, and Teresa Harris from Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Chesapeake, VA. For more information on the workshop please speak with Cyndi Jennings.
This Week at WABC
Pastor Marc and the congregation of WABC would like to thank Pastor Emeritus Copeland and the members of Union United Church of Christ for blessing us with their presence on Sunday afternoon for our Missions Anniversary.
Join us on Wednesday for weekly bible study, food, fellowship, prayer and praise at 6PM. We are studying the Book of Luke. We also offer noon day bible study on Wednesday. Topic of conversation The Gospel According to John.
All choir members are asked to be in attendance this Thursday at 7 PM for Choir Rehearsal.
Join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday Morning Bible Study. We also offer free coffee and donuts before and after Sunday school class.
The Clara Ellis Scholarship Ministry is sponsoring a "Dime Drive" to boost funds used to aid our students.The winner will receive a special gift. For more info please speak with Sarah Russell.

Ladies get ready for our Women's Weekend Experience which will be held May 22nd and May 23rd. There will be an all day workshop on Saturday May 22nd entitled "The Sweet Life Cafe" where women come and Savor the Sweet Life! Savor time with God, Savor time with friends and Savor moments spent serving others. You will leave this workshop feeling nourished, satisfied, and full of the bread of life. The cost of this event is $20.00 per person (this includes continental breakfast and lunch). Followed by our Annual Women's Day service on Sunday May 23rd at 11:30 AM. Our speaker will be the Rev. We have ten tickets available at a cost of $89.00 per person (this does not include transportation, or hotel cost). A deposit is due no later then May 1st. We have room for 4 more ladies!

Sweet Life Cafe
Ladies, come and "Savior Time With God" at WABC Women's Ministry "Sweet Life Cafe". John 6:35 says "I Am the Bread of Life". Come and satisfy the cravings for friends, God, and spiritual growth. We will spend the day engaged in group experiences, personal time alone with God and an opportunity to serve others. Mark your calenders for May 22ND starting at 8:30 AM. The cost is $20.00 per person and includes continental breakfast, lunch and everything you will need for that day. Bring a friend and come experience the "Sweet Life". Registration ends May 1st. This Week at WABC
Sis. Annie King, WABC Church mother has been selected as "Queen" and will be representing WABC at the Ways and Means Committee of the Tidewater Baptist Missionaries. The annual King and Queen Pageant will be held on April 19, 2010 at 7 PM at First Baptist Church, Bute Street in Norfolk.
The Old Dominion General Missionary Baptist Association (Layman's Division) will hold its Annual Spring Revival on April 20th -April 22nd at Antioch Baptist Church, Norfolk.
Our night time Bible Study has been canceled this week so that members can attend the spring revival at Antioch Baptist Church in Norfolk.

WABC is scheduled to join Union Zion Baptist Church on April 18th for their Family and Friends day service. We will leave immediately after our 11:30 AM Worship Service to travel to Gloucester, VA for the 3:30 service. Dinner will be served.

This Week at WABC
