New Years Eve Service

WABC invites you to join us for our New Years Eve Service tonight at 10PM. Come join in a time of music, testimony, prayer and praise. Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite dish to share after service.

This Week at WABC

There will be no Bible Study this coming Wednesday. Please join us next week as we continue our study of the Purpose Driven Church. We also offer Noon Day Bible Study on Wednesday afternoons. The lesson is the Gospel According to John.

Our New Years Eve Service is scheduled to take place on Thursday, December 31st at 10PM. Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite dish to share after service.

Due to the Holiday activities our ALL Staff meeting will be held on January 12th (not the 5th as previously stated).

Join us Wednesday evenings at 7 PM for Prayer, Praise, Food, Fellowship and a Relevant Word. We are studying the Purpose Driven Church by Pastor Rick Warren. We also offer noonday Bible Study on Wednesday afternoons. The topic of conversation is The Gospel According to John.

Join us Sunday mornings at 10 AM for Sunday Morning Bible Study. Free coffee and donuts are available before and after class.

Please do not forget our Food Bank, especially during this holiday season. If you would like to donate towards this ministry please speak with Raymond or Marilyn Caffee.

There will be an ALL Staff Meeting Tuesday January 5th 2010. Anyone in charge of a ministry at WABC (director, minister, president, chairman, or co-chairman, deacon, trustee, etc) is expected to be in attendance. Please come prepared to stay a while as we will be setting the calender for 2010.

The Ellis and Milbourne Family would like to thank everyone who prayed for them, sent cards, made calls and expressed their condolences at the passing of their mother, grandmother and aunt, Mrs. Clara Ellis.

The WABC Christmas program and gift exchange will take place on Sunday December 20th immediately after the morning service.

The Couples and Singles ministry invites you to join Pastor Marc and Cyndi for the play "Gift of Maji" at New Life Providence Church on Sunday December 13th at 6 PM. Admission is free. Please see Cyndi Jennings for more details.

Congratulations to Evan Jayla James and Cecilia Lujan Espinosa who were the Penny Drive winners. Honorable mention goes to Malachi Randall (our winner from last year) and to all of the other youth who participated. The youth at WABC raised over $600 for the building fund!

Congratulations to Rev. Robert Robinson, who was ordained this evening and became the Assistant to Pastor Marc. Special thanks to the Catechizer Rev. Dr. Ervin M. Scott, Pastor of First Lynhaven Baptist Church in Virginia Beach VA, and to the moderator Rev. Dr. Bruce Childs, Pastor of Poplar Lawn Baptist Church, Surry County VA. Pastor Marc and Rev.
