This Week at WABC

Join us Wednesday Night at 6 PM for Praise, Worship, Food, Fellowship and a Relevant Word.

The Youth will meet this Friday (6:30 PM) at WABC for our first Friday Night Youth Event. Please see Erica Morrison for more details.

Thanks goes out to all who participated in our Black History program on this past Sunday. Special thanks goes out to our Drama Ministry Director, Jenette Sapp. Details about our upcoming Easter Program will be forthcoming.

Upcoming Events

Please see our resident Sports Coordinator, Richard Parker if you would like to accompany the Men's Ministry to Washington DC for the Wizards and Pistons Game to be held on Saturday, March 28th. The cost for tickets are $80.00 pp for adults and $70.00 pp for youth 10 and under. The bus will leave Langley AFB at 3 PM. Game time is 7 PM.

Our Executive Board Anniversary is set for March 1st at 3 PM. Our guest will be Rev. Addie Peterson and the congregation of Messiah Presbyterian Church, Norfolk Virginia.

WABC travels to Union United on March 8th at 3 PM.

The Men's Ministry will meet for breakfast with Pastor Marc on March 7th at 9 AM at the Golden Corral on Kempsville Rd in Virginia Beach. Please make sure to invite someone to join you during this time of fellowship.

This Week at WABC


Happy President's Day!

Special thanks goes out to Rev. Robert Robinson for stepping in this weekend for Pastor Marc who was away with his wife Cyndi at the "Weekend to Remember" marriage retreat.

Thanks goes out to the men of WABC (young and young at heart) who helped to tidy up the grounds on Saturday.

Final rehearsal for our Black History program will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 2 PM. This will be the dress rehearsal so please (please) practice your parts.

Please remember our Food Bank Drive. See either Deacon Raymond Caffee or Mrs. Marilyn Caffee for a list of needs.

The Men's Ministry is looking into attending a Wizard's Game in the near future. Deacon Richard Parker (our Resident Sports Coordinator) will be providing more details.

This Week at WABC

All Staff Meeting Tuesday, February 10th at 7 PM.

Pastor Marc's birthday is this Tuesday (February 10th).

The Marriage Retreat ( A Weekend to Remember ) is this weekend, February 13th-15th at the Founders Inn.

Rehearsal for our Black History program is this Saturday, February 14th at 2 PM.

Valentines Day is February 14th. Share the love with someone in your life, or extend an act of kindness to someone in need.

Please remember our Food Bank Drive.

The mother of the church, Mrs. Clara Ellis celebrates her 99th birthday on February 14th.

We welcome Sarita Biggs to our Sunday School Staff.

Congratulations goes to Malachai who won our Youth Penny Drive contest.

The Men's Ministry will hold their first Men's Breakfast on March the 7th. WABC men get ready for a time of food, fun and fellowship. Be sure to invite a friend (or two). Pastor Marc will have more info soon.

The Women's Ministry is preparing for a Women's "Heart Spa" Weekend which will be held in May during our Woman's Day festivities. Several other "Girl's Night Out" events are in the works so stay tuned. Our theme this year is to Live, Laugh and Love.

The "Ways and Means" Committee of the Tidewater Baptist Missionaries will present their fundraiser program April 20th at 7 PM. Calonia Fults will be representing WABC as our Queen this year. The event will be held at Third Baptist Church, Portsmouth VA.
