From "Lincoln to Obama". Our Black History play will be presented on February 27th at 3 PM. Please contact Jenette Sapp if you are interested in participating in this presentation. Rehearsals begin on Saturday, February 7th at 2 PM.

Sunday Morning Experience

This Week at WABC

Join Deacon Parker along with others at the “Unity March” in conjunction with Norfolk’s annual Dr. Martin Luther King Day observance. The march begins at 10 a.m. from the Scope Plaza followed by an 11 a.m. musical performance at Chrysler Hall (including remarks by Norfolk 17 and Lost Class representatives).

On Tuesday January 2o, 2009 Barack Obama will be sworn in as our 44th President. Join us that morning at 11 AM for a special WABC Inauguration Celebration. Bring your favorite snack to share and join in as we celebrate this historic occasion. There will be a recap at 7 PM hosted by Pastor Marc.

Join us at 6 pm each Wednesday night for food, prayer, praise and a relevant word.

Church Conference is Tuesday, January 13th at 7 PM. All WABC members are encouraged to attend.

Deac. and Sis. Caffee want to remind us that the Foodbank is still in the need of canned good items. Please continue to bring in your donations. WABC has made a commitment to provide support more then just during the holiday season.

Marriage Retreat

The marriage retreat that will be held next month (February 13th-15th) is open to all married members of WABC. The information booth will be set up again this weekend. Please see Cyndi Jennings about a discount code if you are interested in attending. Remember this is a time for you and your spouse to reconnect, and refresh in 2009!

Marriage Ministry

Pastor Marc and Cyndi invite you to join them for a "Weekend to Remember" a marriage conference to be held on February 13-15 at the Founder's Inn Conference Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia. A information table will be set up in the fellowship hall on Sunday. This conference is a chance to get away from life's distractions and spend time building up, refreshing or renewing your marriage. Take time to slow down and reconnect with your spouse....Get away and Come Together in 2009.
